If you've ever been to New Orleans you know that they will have any reason to throw a party, which is why they call the city "The Big Easy". One of the things that the people of New Orleans, and almost the entire state of Louisiana, is known for are their second line bands. Second line bands are the people that you'll see on Bourbon St. walking down like a parade. They can be used from everything to a birthday party, wedding, or even a funeral. It's all a part of that rich NOLA culture. I first got introduced to the sound of a second line when I was about 12 years old and my dad was listening to the Rebirth Brass Band.
